SEA and LEA Guides for Identifying Evidence-Based Intervention for School Improvement

These self-study guides were developed to help state education agencies, local education agencies, and schools systematically consider the evidence-base and appropriateness of school improvement interventions for use in their schools. Self-study involves creating a team whose members prepare individually for discussion, meet to participate in discussion and the decision-making process, and then plan next steps together. The guides facilitate this process by providing step-by-step directions and resources for the team such as checklists, templates, and planning forms to help ensure success.
