Access to and use of research databases

Educators have been asked in the Survey of Evidence in Education about their access to research databases and their use of research databases. In this Data Point, Drs. Samantha Shewchuk and Horatio Blackman present the analysis of questions related to educators' perceptions of using databases to identify credible sources of evidence, how many have access to a research data base, how many actually used a research database, and how many times educators used a  research database.   This analysis, Access to and use of research databases, indicates some opportunities for increasing the consumption of academic research by the use of databases.
